Too often we buckle down in our shame or frustration and drift away in self-pity. But as the wonderful Marianne Williamson states: "As we let our own lights shine, we unconsciously give other people the permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our fear, our presence automatically liberates others." Which is to say, rather than going inward and trying to push and shove ourselves to change, why not reach outward and lift others up while we work toward freeing our greatness?
